Genocide Memorial Project
“Those who can make you believe absurdities
can make you commit atrocities.”
~ Voltaire
Welcome to the Genocide Memorial Project, an initiative devoted to honoring the memories of those affected by genocide. This project embarks on a journey to the former sites of these tragic events, where the scars of human suffering remain etched in the landscape. Here. I explore not only the depths of despair and sorrow but also the incredible resilience and compassion that arise in the wake of such atrocities. The site includes some photos and videos of my journey along with some brief information and links for further research.,
Through sharing my experiences and insights gathered along this journey, I aim to illuminate the stories of survival, courage, and hope that often go unheard. This project seeks to engage and educate, fostering awareness about the dark chapters of our history and the fragility of human behavior, while also remembering the unwavering devotion and sacrifices made that emerged from the most challenging times.
In 2022, I traveled through Germany, Czech Republic and Poland exploring the European genocide of 1939 to 1945 known as the Holocaust. My upcoming trips include Rwanda and Cambodia.
This site contains graphic images of genocide. Please use use viewer desecration.
